Meet the Your Mobile Vet Team

Dr Terrence McGlade BSc BVMS(Hons)
Co-Founder, Director, Head Veterinarian

Born and raised in Fremantle, Terrence graduated with honours from Murdoch University in 2007. Terrence knew from age 7 that he wanted to be a Veterinarian and never once strayed from his goal. It is undeniably apparent when you see him working with pets - doing the job he loves.

Upon graduation he travelled to the United States where he practiced in Portland, Oregon for five years. Within those five years Terrence was fortunate enough to quickly gain a vast amount of knowledge that he values today. Soon after graduating he was performing advanced surgeries and successfully handling complex medicine cases. However, home was calling, so in 2012 the choice was made to take his experience back to Oz with him and his young family.

Terrence's special interests include maintaining geriatric quality of life, Avian (bird) medicine and the management of allergies. In his spare time he loves spending time outdoors with his family and playing/recording music. Terrence is also a skilled yet modest artist.

Terrence and his young family share the home with their many rescued pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a featherfin catfish.

Tyrie McGlade - Veterinary Technician (Nurse)
Co-Founder, Director, Head Nurse

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Tyrie has been a veterinary technician/nurse since 2007. She started her journey at the age of 15 years old when she was accepted for an apprenticeship at a small veterinary hospital. Since then she has strived to perpetually expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine and has established a strong technical skill base.

After graduating with honours she was offered a job at a busy critical care and general practice veterinary hospital where she later met her husband, Terrence. Quickly working her way up the ranks, Tyrie soon took on the role of head nurse as well as helping train and educate junior staff. She threw caution to the wind in 2012 when she gave it all up and moved to the beautiful Mandurah area with her husband and children.

Her special interests include feline medicine, wildlife, and multiple subdivisions of pathology. In her spare time she loves spending time outdoors with her family or tending to her much loved succulent garden. She also enjoys singing/recording music and is a keen writer.

Both Terrence and Tyrie are excited to bring their expertise and high standard of patient care to the pets and their pet parents in the Peel Region.
